I’m part of the student council committee in my university and I’m supposed to write a proposal for the headmaster asking him for certain facilities and grants such as a resturaunt and an entertainment room. I looked around for templates but all I could find are huge, endless project proposals, when all I need is a very simple format to address the issues.
Could someone help me with this? I’ve got three issues I want to write about, so should I just include them all in one proposal or write three different proposals? I’m new to this stuff.
Whoever helps me the most receives the best answer. Thank you very much.
Could someone give me a simple format

Generally, all proposal formats go like this: summary of what the organization requesting money is and what it does and/or the circumstances surrounding the request, the request itself and why the organization giving the money should care about it, and how the organization will make sure that the money gets used to fulfill the request (including other sources of support if the request doesn’t cover the full amount). So, for instance: “The student council exists to represent the needs of the student body at this university. Over the past two years, students have complained regarding the lack of local dining options in the town where our university is located. We request $5,000 from the university administration to help construct a restaurant in the student union. This will not only satisfy current student demand, but help attract prospective students, generate income for the school, and ensure student safety by giving them additional reasons to socialize on-campus. To raise the additional $5,000 we project will be necessary for the restaurant, we have already secured a $2,500 commitment from alumni, and plan to host a fundraiser.” You’d need to flesh all of those sections out (particularly the parts where you’re explaining how this will help the school), but that’s the general format.
If all the money is going to be coming from the same funding source, then put it all in the same proposal, but maybe break the request part up into three separate sections. Good luck.
